Kaspersky have a partnership with hardware manufacturer ASUS and provides its Anti-Virus 2013 free for 1 year to owners of the high end Asus ROG (Republic of Gamers) range of motherboards. Although not the Internet Security package with Firewall etc, this version does have other crucial advantages over the CBE edition. Firstly itΓÇÖs available outside of Germany so you donΓÇÖt need to edit the languages, English is default. Secondly, Kaspersky Antivirus 2013 ROG edition is available worldwide so thereΓÇÖs no need to use VPNΓÇÖs and proxies from your country to try and activate it!
If you do not own an ASUS ROG motherboard, attempting to install Kaspersky Anti-Virus 2013 using their setup installer will fail with the error message ΓÇ£Error has Occurred. Application was not installed. Digital signature of installation files is missingΓÇ¥. After a bit of time and research weΓÇÖve come up with a way to install and activate the ROG edition using the standard antivirus package for ALL users, not just those who have Asus ROG motherboards. This isnΓÇÖt done using cracks or keygenerators, just common sense and logic. HereΓÇÖs the steps how to do it.

I've simplified the process/steps outlined from the source webpage. I've done the extractions and created the directories outlined by the source to make your life easier.

1. Copy/Paste the No1 folder inside Program directory, normally located at:
x64bit operating systems:

C:Program Files (x86)
x86(x32bit) operating systems:

C:Program Files
2. Now Copy/Paste the No2 folder into your ProgramData directory, located at:
C:ProgramData
N.B. The ProgramData directory is normally a hidden directory. To make it "visable". Go to:
Start/Computer/Documents/Organize/Folder and search options
Now click the "View" TAB and click on "Show hidden files, folders and drives". Then click on "Apply" and then click on "OK".
3. Now open the No3 folder. Right click on it's contents and select "Run As Administrator".
When install has completed, your licensed for 365 days and fully up-dateable.

I had an old version of Kaspersky with remnants still on my computer. I used Kaspersky uninstaller to totally remove it and then followed your supplied instructions to the letter. I now have 365 days of coverage. Thank you sooo much for this torrent "2010kaiser".

I'm getting a funky error as well. It doesn't even allow me to do the cmd.exe net user. I go and type the net user administrator / active:yes says System 5 error Access is Denied. I can't put cbi.dll file in the Kaspersky Anti-virus 2013 folder. Please help, much appreciated.

Great Torrent!! I followed your installation note as instructed and it installed to Windows 8 x64bit system. However my computer was rebooted (automatically) after installations, it asked for a key or option to select the link for a 30 trial. "Did I do something wrong here"?

Tried installing on a second pc today and the license was disabled because of too many installations on this license key. It's still active on my other machine though since 5/16/2013 so I waited too long to try it again. Looks like Kaspersky shut this one down. That's OK,because I have a key for 3 pc's I purchased from Amazon for $6.50 for my 3 other machines!

We've just re-tested it. It's not "flagged" by Kasspesky or anything else.
It's a full install which now gives 363 days and not 365 days.

No offense to the uploader but this anti-virus is the worst anti-virus ever. I have 16 gigs of ram on my computer and Kaspersky is using nearly all of it during scans. All other functions and software on my computer are completely useless till scans are complete. A side note is also that there has been a tremendous overall drop in my computers speed even when Kaspersky isn't scanning. If anyone thinks that I'm the only one having this problem then check out the comments on Softpedia. An endless stream of consistent negative comments about this memory hog software. Sorry "2010Kaiser" but this was indeed my nightmare experience with this product.
brother i tried installing with the exact method on 2 different machines but they are not working at all , i even rebooted my pc. it display me the activation screen , whether i want it with trial version or enter the serial key ...plzzz help need this badly , thanks

It should then be a file like this:

@varungoyalca Sorry man, I'm not a pro or something, just a random guy passing by, I can't really help you more than simpliflying the steps. But I guess that if you did the correct steps and still couldn't intall it, maybe you still have the remnants of a older version ( try to delete anything related to Kasperky in your pc). Hell, maybe even that Windows Defender crap is fucking with you.
Post your operating system details here and what exactly is happening, you can't install or you can't license it?

Did some homework on this. When I installed on my laptop,key was active 365 days,then ran update and rebooted it shows KEY STATUS:BLOCKED LICENSE PROBLEM DETECTED YOU HAVE EXCEEDED THE MAXIMUM NUMBER OF COMPUTERS ON WHICH KASPERSKY ANTI-VIRUS CAN BE INSTALLED UNDER YOUR LICENSE.PROTECTION IS DISABLED.TO RESUME PROTECTION OF YOUR COMPUTER ENTER A NEW ACTIVATION CODE

It appears that Kaspersky allows only one installation per household since I am unable to activate on any other of my machines.Key keeps getting blocked but it's still active on this one I am using now.

It's on the IP address.
Try it on your friends ISP connection. One who doesn't have it installed and you'll see it's still very much active and installable ;-)

Works great just ensure you copy the contents of the folders into the right place. I messed up first time and it asked me for a product key but uninstalled it and got it right 2nd time.
Open No.1 and copy the folder "Kaspersky Lab" into C:Program Files (x86) (NOT Program Files)
Open No.2 and copy file "Kaspersky Lab" into C:ProgramData

So it's still asking me for a reg key after I followed all instructions, and in the lower right icon when i hover it says "application is not activated." Is this normal?
